Artist Statement
Rubén’s style comprises of the transformation of faces and torsos in planes and looping curves with natural colors, mechanical forms, nature forms, symbols from his cultural background, as well as flora and fauna.
The bold outline is immediately recognizable, yet subtle when blended into the forms, the human body is also recognizable and only as disproportionate as real life.
